Someone mentioned that when the name of Jesus was mentioned, people fled? I would suggest that you give our site another chance, and feel the REAL LOVE that flows from one to another. My sons father left me too when he was only 6 months old. You will be fine. Just remind yourself you are a strong woman and you can do anything. If you doubt yourself look into your sons sweet littel face. Within his smile you will find all the strength you need. The most horrifying thing i ever saw was my son upset because i was. When he left i still loved him. I thought of little else than how much i loved him and how I couldn't raise my son without him. here i am 3 years later still without him (and he doesn't pay me anything either)and i am doing wonderful. Change your thinking change your words. Change your life. He didn't leave you You left him! Your baby is worth those extra hours at work, and those sleepless nights. He is nothing WORTHLESS and mostly SMILE all the time! It not only makes you feel better, it makes others like you more and your baby will smile as much as you do!!!

Wonderful ! I just learned of this site from an old high school friend (don't mean to call you "old" Anne -lol ) -- I feel relief finding a site where there are others who feel some form of loss or pain -- whether it be new or old.. I lost a friend 20 yrs ago in high school (suicide), and I dived into poetry to relieve my anguish... then I find this site, and found out I could post a poem I made for him right after crossed over -- I've kept that poem to myself/friends/family -- now I'm happy to share it with others to see, who maybe was, or is, in a similar situation -- we all have the ability to heal each other... I also posted it, because I know the emotions of everyone who reads it, will reach across that thin line separating us and our other friends/family, and they will smile, and know we are thinking of them... :)
